There are some moments in life that completely take your breath away—and for us, welcoming our beautiful granddaughter into the world has been one of those unforgettable experiences.
On Friday, our hearts grew a little bigger as we welcomed our beautiful Iliana into our lives. She arrived weighing 8 lbs 3 oz and measuring 23 inches long—absolutely perfect in every way.
We feel so incredibly blessed and joyful for our son Izzy and our beautiful daughter-in-law Isabel. Watching them become parents has been such a gift. The love they have for each other and now for Iliana is inspiring—it fills us with so much pride and gratitude.
There’s something so magical about holding your grandchild for the first time. Although this isn’t our first grandchild—we have a wonderful grandson—every time has been an exciting, heartwarming experience. This moment, however, is extra special because it’s our first granddaughter.
Iliana’s tiny fingers, her soft cheeks, her peaceful little breaths—she’s already stolen our hearts. We can’t wait to watch her grow, to see her personality blossom, and to be a part of every precious milestone along the way.
This chapter is just beginning, but it already feels like the best one yet.
